Yes, I bet you do.
Places like this crack me up. This is what's known in the South I grew up in as a beauty parlor. Places where you get your hair done today are called salons. Now I go to a salon, but when I was little, I went to Ellen's Beauty Shop to get my hair cut in a shag or a pixie. When I was really little, I went with my mother and waited while she got her hair set. Once I was old enough to drive, I spent much time shuttling my grandmother and Tot, my aunt, back and forth to Amy's, where they had their hair done and then sat under the dryers.
This one is Coiffures by Peggy, and it's right on Ponce. I pass it on the way to work every day, and when I do, I send up a little thanks that I don't have to sleep with my hair in curlers.

A motorcycle, on a trailer, hitched to a big hoss truck, en route to a NASCAR race. Whee!

The carwash in Ellijay. As far as I know, there's not a bay there, so I'm thinking they must be fans of the bodacious ta-tas on Bay Watch. Clever.

Look busy. Or busier, at any rate. This sign is in Dudley, Georgia, on the way into Dublin. I think it might be the biggest sign in Dublin. I don't remember how long it's been there, but the lady whose brother owns the store (and who has apparently hired her) that it's behind was my substitute teacher in middle school, and when she had to sub for PE class, if a ball was foul, she'd yell fow-ul! Yes, I know her name, no I won't tell you. I don't think she recognized me, mercifully.

Even my hair won't grow guaranteed results, and it's pretty obedient...

I don't
usually post photos that I didn't take myself, but this one, from my friend
Gideon (one of the Infamous Carrollton Boys) was irresistible.
